Delightful Vanilla Rose Cupcakes infused with floral hints, perfect for gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Pink food coloring (optional)
- Rose flavored extract (optional)
- Buttercream frosting
- Edible rose petals (for decoration)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
- Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the milk and vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- If desired, add a few drops of pink food coloring and rose extract for flavor.
- Fill each cupcake liner about 2/3 full with batter.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cupcakes to cool completely before decorating with buttercream frosting.
- Top with edible rose petals for an elegant finish.
Notes
Using room temperature butter and eggs can improve the texture; consider adjusting rose flavored extract to your taste.
