Ingredients
- 10 Chocolate chip cookies (homemade or store-bought)
- 250-300g Powdered sugar (9-11 oz)
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) Water
- Red food coloring
- White mini marshmallows
- 1 small bag Milkybar buttons
Instructions
- Slice the cookies into halves using a sharp blade and invert them.
- Combine 250g of powdered sugar with a tablespoon of water to create a thick yet spreadable glaze. If the mixture is overly thick, add a small amount of water gradually until you achieve the desired consistency; if it’s too runny, incorporate more powdered sugar.
- Add a few drops of red food coloring to the mixture and stir until you achieve a vibrant red hue.
- Apply the red glaze onto the cut sides of the cookie halves.
- Arrange the mini marshmallows along the edge of one half of the cookie.
- Gently place the other half of the cookie on top, pressing down so the icing slightly spills out.
- Cut the Milkybar buttons in half to form fang shapes, and insert them into the glaze, spacing them approximately four marshmallows apart. For an extra touch, use a toothpick dipped in red food coloring to paint the lower part of the fangs red.
- Let the glaze set for 10 to 15 minutes, then indulge and enjoy!
Notes
- Experiment with various cookie types like peanut butter or oatmeal raisin for a unique flavor.
- Adjust the powdered sugar amount to achieve your preferred glaze consistency.
- Get imaginative with decorations using different food coloring or sprinkles for a fun touch.
