Description

A delicious combination of creamy avocados and flavorful tuna, perfect for a snack or quick lunch.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 can of tuna, drained
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup celery, diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, diced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon juice (optional)
  • Fresh herbs (like parsley or dill, optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados in half and remove the pit. Scoop out a little flesh to make room for the filling.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, celery, red onion, salt, and pepper. Optionally add a squeeze of lemon juice for flavor.
  3. Gently mix until well combined.
  4. Spoon the tuna mixture into the avocado halves.
  5. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
  6. Serve immediately as a snack or lunch.

Notes

To enhance flavor, consider adding smoked paprika or hot sauce. Use freshly squeezed lemon juice to prevent browning.
