Ingredients
- 8 ounces corkscrew pasta
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the corkscrew pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute, until it starts to bubble.
- Gradually whisk in the milk, and continue to whisk until the mixture thickens.
- Reduce the heat to low and add the cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan cheeses, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Add the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the cheese sauce.
- Combine the cooked pasta with the cheese sauce, mixing well to coat.
- Serve warm and enjoy your cheesy delight!
Notes
For a crispy top, transfer to a greased baking dish, sprinkle with cheese, and bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.
