Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (15 ml)
- 1/2 cup chopped onion (120g)
- 1/2 cup chopped celery (120g)
- 4 (411g) cans chicken broth
- 1 (411g) can vegetable broth
- 1/2 pound chopped cooked beef breast (225g)
- 1 1/2 cups egg noodles (150g)
- 1 cup sliced carrots (128g)
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) dried oregano
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Warm up vegetable oil in a large pot over medium flame. Incorporate onion and celery, cooking until they soften, roughly 5 minutes.
- Pour in chicken broth, vegetable broth, beef, egg noodles, carrots, basil, oregano, along with salt and pepper. Mix well and heat until it begins to boil.
- Lower the heat and let it gently cook for 20 minutes.
