Description

Deliciously flaky bacon cheddar biscuits, perfect for breakfast or as a snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup cooked bacon, chopped
  • ¾ cup milk


Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add the cold butter and blend until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese and crispy bacon.
  4. Pour in the milk, stirring until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  5. Turn the dough onto a floured surface, knead gently, and shape into a 1-inch thick slab.
  6. Cut out biscuits using a round cutter and place them on a prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and risen.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
