Description

A quick and flavorful stir-fry packed with the bold tastes of Thai basil, garlic, and chilies, perfect for busy weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups Thai basil leaves
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2-3 Thai bird chilies, chopped
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Steamed rice, for serving


Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and chopped chilies; stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, and sugar.
  5. Add Thai basil leaves and cook until just wilted.
  6. Serve hot over steamed rice.
