Description

A vibrant teriyaki salmon avocado rice stack that combines layers of tender salmon, creamy avocado, and perfectly cooked rice for a delightful meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Green onions, for garnish
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill or a skillet over medium heat. Season the salmon fillets with salt, pepper, and drizzle with sesame oil.
  2. Cook the salmon for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through. Brush with teriyaki sauce during the last minute of cooking.
  3. While the salmon is cooking, prepare the rice.
  4. Once the salmon is done, flake it into large chunks.
  5. To assemble, take a layer of rice, followed by flaked salmon, and top it with avocado slices.
  6. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used.
  7. Drizzle more teriyaki sauce on top and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

Experiment with your layers. Consider adding sliced cucumbers or shredded carrots. Adjust the amount of teriyaki sauce based on your taste preference.
