Description

A flavorful 7-ingredient weeknight meal combining ground turkey and broccoli in a sweet and spicy sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Cooked rice or quinoa (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Cook your rice or quinoa according to the package directions and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add ground turkey to the hot skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, approximately 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the broccoli florets and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the broccoli is tender yet crisp.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, and sriracha until well combined.
  6. Pour the sauce over the turkey and broccoli mixture in the skillet. Stir well to coat everything evenly.
  7. Allow the mixture to simmer for 2-3 minutes so the flavors meld together.
  8. Scoop the turkey and broccoli mixture over servings of rice or quinoa. Enjoy your flavorful meal!

Notes

Adjust sriracha to taste for desired heat. Consider garnishing with sesame seeds or green onions.
