Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 envelope unflavored gelatin (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a blender, puree the strawberries with the sugar and lemon juice.
  2. If using gelatin, dissolve it in 2 tablespoons of warm water and mix it with the strawberry puree.
  3. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream to soft peaks and fold in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gently fold the strawberry mixture into the whipped cream until fully combined.
  5. Spoon the mixture into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
