Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 envelope unflavored gelatin (optional)
Instructions
- In a blender, puree the strawberries with the sugar and lemon juice.
- If using gelatin, dissolve it in 2 tablespoons of warm water and mix it with the strawberry puree.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream to soft peaks and fold in the vanilla extract.
