Description
A light and fluffy strawberry mousse cake filling perfect for elevating any cake.
Ingredients
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 1/3 cups cold heavy cream
- 1/2 cup freeze-dried strawberry powder
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of fine salt
Instructions
- Melt the white chocolate chips in short bursts in the microwave until smooth, stirring after each burst.
- In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- Gently fold the melted white chocolate into the whipped cream with a spatula.
- Add the freeze-dried strawberry powder and mix until well combined.
- Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least two hours before using.
Notes
For a more stable mousse, use cold mixing tools and chill your mixing bowl and whisk. Adjust the amount of strawberry powder to your taste.
