Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 can strawberry pie filling
- 1 package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup strawberries, sliced (optional)
- 1 cup whipped cream (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, vanilla extract, and half the melted butter until smooth.
- Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly in the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the pie filling.
- Sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly over the top.
- Drizzle the remaining melted butter over the cake mix.
- Add sliced strawberries on top if desired.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving with whipped cream.
