Description

A comforting dish of creamy ground beef pasta that combines tender rotini pasta with rich ground beef and a luscious cheddar cheese sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz rotini pasta
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef. Cook until browned and fully cooked (5-7 minutes), stirring occasionally, then drain excess fat.
  2. Add the diced onion to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes until soft and translucent.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds to 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Sprinkle in paprika, salt, and black pepper, mixing well to coat the beef and veggies.
  5. Pour in the beef broth and bring to a gentle simmer. Add the rotini pasta, cover, and let simmer on medium-low heat for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally until tender.
  6. Once cooked, pour in the heavy cream and shredded cheddar, stirring until the cheese melts and the sauce is creamy.
  7. Adjust seasoning if necessary, and serve hot, garnished with parsley if desired.

Notes

Pair with garlic bread or a fresh salad for a complete meal. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
