Description

A comforting dish featuring tender beef and coated noodles in a flavorful soy sauce blend that evokes warmth and togetherness.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz noodles (your choice)
  • 1 lb beef (sliced thinly)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp ginger (grated)
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Green onions (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, garlic, and ginger in a bowl.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned.
  5. Pour the sauce mixture over the beef and stir to combine. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, tossing to coat them in the sauce.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

For optimal tenderness, thinly slice the beef against the grain. Serve with light sides like cucumber salad or spring rolls.
