A flavorful steak stir fry featuring thinly sliced flank steak, colorful vegetables, and a savory marinade, perfect for family dinners and gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 lb flank steak, sliced thinly
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cups mixed bell peppers, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the sliced steak, soy sauce, and cornstarch. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the steak and stir-fry until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the remaining oil. Stir-fry the garlic, ginger, and vegetables until tender-crisp.
- Return the steak to the pan, add the oyster sauce, and mix well. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper if desired. Serve hot.
Notes
Use a wok for better tossing and cooking. Adjust seasoning with more soy or oyster sauce as needed.
