Ingredients

  • – 1 pound (454 g) ground beef
  • – 1/4 cup (30 g) bread crumbs
  • – 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) garlic salt
  • – 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) italian seasoning
  • – 1/4 cup (25 g) grated alternative cheese
  • – 4 alternative cheese cut into 1″ (2.5 cm) pieces
  • – black olives sliced
  • – 1 pound (454 g) spaghetti noodles
  • – 24 ounce (680 g) pasta sauce, use your favorite brand

Instructions

  1. Set your oven to 375ºF to preheat.
  2. In a spacious bowl, thoroughly blend the ground beef, breadcrumbs, garlic salt, Italian herbs, and grated alternative cheese.
  3. Form the mixture into 16 meatballs, each about 2 inches, and arrange them in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  4. Cut the alternative cheese into four segments and push one piece into each meatball, allowing the cheese to slightly protrude from the top.
  5. Place a slice of black olive on each meatball.
  6. Bake the meatballs for 20 minutes or until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F.
  7. While the meatballs are baking, cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions and then drain it.
  8. Combine the cooked pasta with your preferred pasta sauce.
  9. Serve the spaghetti topped with the monster meatballs.

Notes

  • Consider using whole wheat or alternative pasta noodles for a healthier twist.
  • Experiment with different alternative cheeses to discover your preferred meatball flavor.
  • Enhance the pasta sauce by adding chopped fresh herbs like basil or parsley before mixing with the spaghetti.
