Description

A delightful dish that elevates classic hash browns with creamy avocado and a hint of spicy jalapeño, perfect for breakfast or a snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 medium hash brown patties
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 small jalapeño, diced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish
  • Red pepper flakes, for garnish (optional)
  • Olive oil, for cooking


Instructions

  1. Cook the hash brown patties in a skillet over medium heat until golden and crispy, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  2. While the hash browns are cooking, mash the avocado with lime juice, jalapeño, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Once the hash browns are done, place them on a plate.
  4. Spread the spicy smashed avocado evenly over each hash brown.
  5. Garnish with fresh cilantro and red pepper flakes, if desired.
  6. Serve immediately as a breakfast or snack.

Notes
