Description

A comforting meal that combines the rich flavors of seared steak with creamy pasta, perfect for any day of the week.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or linguine)
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. Season the steak with salt and pepper. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter.
  3. Add the steak and sear until cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest before slicing.
  4. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
  5. Stir in the red pepper flakes, and then add the cooked pasta, tossing to combine.
  6. Add the sliced steak and grated Parmesan cheese, mixing thoroughly until creamy.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Experiment with the level of heat from the red pepper flakes and adjust the garlic to taste. Using freshly grated Parmesan enhances the creaminess and flavor.
