Description
A nostalgic bundt cake with rich flavors of cinnamon, sugar, and pecans, perfect for gatherings.
Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a bundt cake pan.
- In a large bowl, cream together sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
- Add sour cream and mix well.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
- Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in another bowl; gradually mix into the creamed mixture.
- In a small bowl, mix the chopped pecans, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared bundt cake pan.
- Sprinkle the pecan mixture over the batter, then cover with the remaining batter.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting onto a plate.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
Dust with powdered sugar before serving. Pairs well with coffee or vanilla ice cream.
