Ingredients
- – 1 -1 1/2 lbs (680-680 g) Ground beef, browned
- – 2 large Russet potatoes, cut into chunks
- – 2 cups (480 ml) Mirepoix (diced carrots, celery, and onion), cut into large chunks
- – 2 cups (480 ml) Beef broth
- – 14 oz (400 g) can Diced tomatoes
- – 6 oz (170 g) Tomato paste
- – 1 tablespoon (15 ml) Worcestershire sauce
- – 1 teaspoon (5 ml) Onion powder
- – 1 teaspoon (5 ml) Garlic powder
- – 1 teaspoon (5 ml) Oregano
- – 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) salt or more to taste
- – 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) black pepper or more to taste
Instructions
- Cook the ground beef until it is browned.
- Chop the potatoes and vegetables into big pieces.
- Place all the ingredients into the slow cooker, making sure to pour the broth in last.
- Mix everything thoroughly, cover, and let it cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
