Description

Deliciously tender BBQ baby back ribs made effortlessly in a slow cooker, infused with sweet and smoky flavors.

Ingredients

  • 2 racks baby back ribs
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper to create the dry rub.
  2. Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs.
  3. Place the ribs in the slow cooker, standing them up if necessary.
  4. Cook on low for 6 hours until the ribs are tender.
  5. Preheat the broiler.
  6. Carefully remove the ribs from the slow cooker and place them on a baking sheet.
  7. Brush the ribs generously with BBQ sauce.
  8. Broil the ribs for 5-10 minutes, or until the sauce is caramelized.
  9. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

For extra tenderness, consider cooking the ribs for up to 8 hours on low. Pair with refreshing sides like coleslaw or corn on the cob.
