Description
A comforting slow cooked beef brisket, beautifully tender and rich in flavor, perfect for family gatherings.
Ingredients
- 3–4 lb beef brisket
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tbsp tomato paste or tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- Optional: 1 tsp paprika or dried herbs
Instructions
- Pat the brisket dry and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a pan and lightly sear the brisket on both sides (optional but recommended).
- Place onion and garlic in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Set the brisket on top and add beef broth and tomato paste.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 480–600 minutes until fork-tender.
- Let rest, then slice against the grain and spoon juices over the top.
- Serve warm with your favorite comfort sides.

Allow the brisket to rest after cooking for the best flavor and juiciness.
