Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 large egg
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin tin.
- Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and black pepper in a mixing bowl.
- Whisk together milk, oil, and egg in another bowl.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Fold in the shredded cheese and crumbled bacon.
- Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
