Description

A delightful blend of pancake mix, eggs, sausage, and cheese layered to create a comforting breakfast experience.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups pancake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 cups whole milk (or almond milk)
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage links
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or mozzarella)
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 can non-stick baking spray


Instructions

  1. Cook the breakfast sausage links in a skillet over medium heat until browned and fully cooked. Remove and cool slightly before slicing.
  2. Combine pancake mix, eggs, and milk in a mixing bowl and whisk until smooth.
  3. Pour a small amount of batter into the prepared baking dish to create a base layer.
  4. Layer half of the sliced sausage and one cup of cheese over the batter.
  5. Pour another layer of pancake batter over the cheese.
  6. Repeat with the remaining sausage, followed by another cup of cheese and then the final portion of batter on top.
  7. Drizzle maple syrup evenly over the top layer of batter.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Cool slightly before slicing and serving.
