- 1/2 cup (120 ml) vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) ranch dressing
- 3 tablespoon (45 ml) Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) minced fresh rosemary
- 2 teaspoon (10 ml) salt
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) white vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) ground black pepper
- 2 pounds (900 g) boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch chunks
Instructions
- Combine the vegetable oil, ranch dressing, Worcestershire sauce, minced rosemary, salt, lemon juice, white vinegar, and ground black pepper in a medium-sized bowl. Allow the mixture to sit for 5 minutes.
- Add the chicken pieces to the bowl and mix thoroughly to ensure they are well-coated with the marinade. Cover the bowl and place it in the refrigerator for half an hour.
- Heat the grill to medium-high. Slide the marinated chicken onto skewers, then dispose of the remaining marinade.
- Cook the skewers on the grill for 8 to 12 minutes, turning them over halfway through. Ensure the chicken is cooked through, with no pinkness inside and clear juices.
Notes
- Consider using a light or low-fat ranch dressing for a healthier option with reduced calorie and fat content.
- Marinate the chicken in the fridge for 1-2 hours to intensify the flavor.
- Try experimenting with different herbs and spices like thyme or oregano in the marinade to customize the taste.
