Description

A rich and creamy compound butter infused with roasted garlic and fresh herbs, perfect for elevating any dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 head of garlic
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the top off the head of garlic to expose the cloves, drizzle with olive oil, and wrap in foil. Roast in the oven for about 30-35 minutes until the cloves are soft and caramelized.
  3. Let the garlic cool, then squeeze the softened cloves into a mixing bowl.
  4. Add the softened butter, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, parsley, chives, salt, and pepper to the bowl.
  5. Mix everything together until well combined.
  6. Transfer to a container and refrigerate until firm. Serve with bread, steak, or your favorite dishes.
