A rich and creamy compound butter infused with roasted garlic and fresh herbs, perfect for elevating any dish.
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 head of garlic
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut the top off the head of garlic to expose the cloves, drizzle with olive oil, and wrap in foil. Roast in the oven for about 30-35 minutes until the cloves are soft and caramelized.
- Let the garlic cool, then squeeze the softened cloves into a mixing bowl.
- Add the softened butter, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, parsley, chives, salt, and pepper to the bowl.
- Mix everything together until well combined.
- Transfer to a container and refrigerate until firm. Serve with bread, steak, or your favorite dishes.
