Tender and flavorful meatballs made with ricotta cheese and ground beef, perfect for a comforting family meal.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Marinara sauce (for serving)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ricotta cheese, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Shape the mixture into meatballs and place them in a crock pot or skillet.
- If using a crock pot, pour marinara sauce over the meatballs and cook on low for 6-8 hours. If using stovetop, cook over medium heat until meatballs are browned and cooked through, approximately 20-25 minutes.
- Serve with additional marinara sauce and enjoy!
Notes
For best results, gently fold the mixture to keep meatballs tender and use freshly grated cheese for enhanced flavor.
