Description

Tender and flavorful meatballs made with ricotta cheese and ground beef, perfect for a comforting family meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Marinara sauce (for serving)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ricotta cheese, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into meatballs and place them in a crock pot or skillet.
  4. If using a crock pot, pour marinara sauce over the meatballs and cook on low for 6-8 hours. If using stovetop, cook over medium heat until meatballs are browned and cooked through, approximately 20-25 minutes.
  5. Serve with additional marinara sauce and enjoy!

Notes

For best results, gently fold the mixture to keep meatballs tender and use freshly grated cheese for enhanced flavor.
