Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 cup rice
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon garlic (minced)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetables of choice (e.g., broccoli, bell peppers)
Instructions
- Cook the rice according to package instructions.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Preheat a pan over medium heat. Add chicken breasts and cook until golden brown on both sides and cooked through.
- Pour the glaze over the chicken in the pan and simmer for about 5 minutes until thickened.
- In the last few minutes, add vegetables to the pan to steam.
- Serve the glazed chicken over rice with vegetables.
Notes
Allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes after cooking for juicier meat. Experiment with different vegetables for added flavor.
