Description

Delightful protein-packed cinnamon rolls made with Greek yogurt and whole wheat flour, perfect for a nourishing treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 cup protein frosting (for topping)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, whole wheat flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and vanilla protein powder until a dough forms.
  3. If using, add honey or maple syrup for sweetness.
  4. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle.
  5. Spread a thin layer of Greek yogurt or your choice of spread, and sprinkle more cinnamon if desired.
  6. Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut into 8 equal pieces.
  7. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  9. Drizzle the protein frosting over the rolls and serve warm.

Notes

Consider adding nutmeg or vanilla extract for extra flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
