Description

A warm and hearty soup made with potatoes and kielbasa, perfect for chilly days, evoking memories of family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 pound kielbasa, sliced
  • 2 cups potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Heat a large pot over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Add the sliced kielbasa and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in the diced potatoes and pour in the chicken broth.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes until potatoes are tender.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and shredded cheese until melted and smooth; season with salt and pepper.
