Description

A delightful and colorful dish combining tender beef sirloin and crunchy bell peppers, stir-fried to perfection.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, sliced into strips
  • 2 bell peppers (red and green), sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch until smooth. Set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add sliced beef and cook until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add onions and garlic; sauté until fragrant.
  5. Add sliced bell peppers and stir-fry until tender-crisp.
  6. Return the beef to the skillet and pour the sauce over. Stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes until everything is well-coated and heated through.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

Slice the beef against the grain for tenderness. Don’t overcrowd the pan when cooking the beef.
