Description

A vibrant and aromatic Pepper Steak Stir Fry featuring tender flank steak, crunchy bell peppers, and a savory soy sauce blend, perfect for quick and satisfying meals.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 bell peppers (red and green), sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix sliced flank steak with cornstarch, salt, and pepper. Allow it to marinate briefly while preparing the pan.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the beef and stir-fry until browned. Remove from the pan to ensure it does not overcook.
  3. In the same pan, add garlic, ginger, and bell peppers, cooking until the peppers are slightly tender, approximately five minutes.
  4. Return the beef to the pan and add soy sauce, stirring to combine. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until well combined and heated through.
  5. Serve hot over cooked rice.

Notes

For best results, slice the flank steak against the grain and ensure high heat for cooking to maintain tenderness.
