Description

A comforting dish of tender beef sirloin with vibrant bell peppers and sweet onion, marinated and stir-fried for a delicious meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, sliced against the grain
  • 2 cups mixed bell peppers, chopped (red, yellow, green)
  • 1 medium sweet onion, sliced
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with water


Instructions

  1. Slice the beef sirloin into thin strips against the grain.
  2. Chop the bell peppers and slice the onion.
  3. In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, minced garlic, and the cornstarch mixture. Marinate for 10 to 15 minutes.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add oil.
  5. Cook the marinated beef in the skillet until browned, approximately two minutes per side.
  6. Add the chopped bell peppers and sliced onion to the skillet. Stir-fry for about three minutes until tender yet crisp.
  7. Pour any remaining marinade into the pan and simmer for about a minute until thickened.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Serve with rice or noodles to soak up the delicious marinade. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days.
