Description

A luxurious pasta dish featuring creamy Alfredo sauce, crispy bacon, and tangy sun-dried tomatoes.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 4 slices of bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy; remove and set on paper towels.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Add the sun-dried tomatoes and the cooked bacon, mixing well.
  7. Add the cooked penne pasta to the skillet and stir until coated in the sauce.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For a richer sauce, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Adjust the creaminess by adding reserve pasta water if needed.
