A luxurious pasta dish featuring creamy Alfredo sauce, crispy bacon, and tangy sun-dried tomatoes.
Ingredients
- 8 oz penne pasta
- 4 slices of bacon, chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy; remove and set on paper towels.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add the sun-dried tomatoes and the cooked bacon, mixing well.
- Add the cooked penne pasta to the skillet and stir until coated in the sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For a richer sauce, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Adjust the creaminess by adding reserve pasta water if needed.
