Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened

- 2 teaspoons baking powder

- A pinch of salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened (for frosting)
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for frosting)
- Peach food coloring (to achieve desired shade)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a cupcake pan with liners.
- Cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Mix in the milk, vanilla extract, and peach extract until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Evenly distribute the batter into the cupcake liners, filling them two-thirds full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- While the cupcakes cool, whip the softened butter for the frosting until creamy.
- Gradually add powdered sugar, followed by heavy cream and vanilla, mixing until smooth.
- Add food coloring until your desired peachy pink hue is reached.
- Once the cupcakes have cooled, frost them with the peach frosting.
