Ingredients

  • 2 small flatbreads
  • 3 tablespoon (45 ml) s olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) salt
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) pepper
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) crumbled goat cheese
  • 3 medium yellow peaches, cut into thin slices
  • 6 slices beef bacon
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) baby arugula
  • 3 tablespoon (45 ml) s balsamic glaze

Instructions

  1. Set your oven to 400°F to preheat.
  2. Apply olive oil to the surface of each flatbread, then season with salt and pepper.
  3. Distribute the goat cheese evenly across the flatbreads, leaving a half-inch border for the crust.
  4. Arrange the peach slices uniformly over the flatbreads.
  5. Break the beef bacon into smaller pieces and sprinkle them on top of the flatbreads.
  6. Position the flatbreads on a large baking sheet and bake at 400°F for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the crust turns a golden brown. Allow to cool slightly.
  7. Add the baby arugula on top of the flatbreads and drizzle with the balsamic glaze. Cut into pieces and enjoy.

Notes

  • For a crispier crust, consider par-baking the flatbreads before adding toppings.
  • Experiment with different cheeses like feta or blue cheese for a unique flavor.
  • Enhance the dish with chopped fresh herbs such as basil or thyme for added flavor depth.
