Ingredients

  • – 1 (375g) package chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
  • – 1/4 cup (60ml) unsalted butter, melted
  • – 2 cups (475ml) cookies and cream ice cream, softened
  • – 1 (450g) jar chocolate fudge sauce, warmed
  • – 8 oz (225g) whipped cream, thawed


Instructions

  1. Place the crushed cookies in a bowl, keeping aside ½ cup for later, and combine with the melted butter until well mixed. Press this mixture firmly into a greased 9×13-inch pan.
  2. Spread the softened ice cream evenly over the cookie base and place it in the freezer for 2 hours.
  3. Pour the warmed fudge sauce over the ice cream layer and return to the freezer for an additional hour.
  4. Top with the whipped cream, sprinkle the saved cookie crumbs on top, and freeze for another 2 hours. Take out of the freezer and allow to rest at room temperature for 15 minutes before serving. ENJOY!
