Ingredients
- – 1 (375g) package chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
- – 1/4 cup (60ml) unsalted butter, melted
- – 2 cups (475ml) cookies and cream ice cream, softened
- – 1 (450g) jar chocolate fudge sauce, warmed
- – 8 oz (225g) whipped cream, thawed
Instructions
- Place the crushed cookies in a bowl, keeping aside ½ cup for later, and combine with the melted butter until well mixed. Press this mixture firmly into a greased 9×13-inch pan.
- Spread the softened ice cream evenly over the cookie base and place it in the freezer for 2 hours.
- Pour the warmed fudge sauce over the ice cream layer and return to the freezer for an additional hour.
- Top with the whipped cream, sprinkle the saved cookie crumbs on top, and freeze for another 2 hours. Take out of the freezer and allow to rest at room temperature for 15 minutes before serving. ENJOY!
