Ingredients
- 8 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
- 1 lb chicken breast, diced
- 1 cup buffalo sauce
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot or skillet over medium heat.
- Add the diced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour in the buffalo sauce and stir to coat the chicken.
- Add the pasta, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until pasta is cooked and the sauce has thickened, about 15 minutes.
- Stir in shredded cheese until melted and creamy.
- Serve the pasta hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
Notes
For a milder dish, use less buffalo sauce or experiment with different cheeses.
