Description

A simple and quick recipe for homemade rosemary focaccia bread, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) instant yeast
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary
  • Flaky sea salt for topping

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, sugar, and yeast.
  2. Add warm water and 1 tablespoon of olive oil and mix until a dough forms.
  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  5. Grease a baking sheet with the remaining olive oil.
  6. Once the dough has risen, spread it onto the baking sheet with your fingers, creating dimples across the surface.
  7. Sprinkle with fresh rosemary and flaky sea salt.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

For an extra crispy crust, add more olive oil to the baking sheet before spreading the dough.
