Description

Delicious classic vanilla cupcakes, perfect for any occasion and beautifully presented in the OLBAA Deep Cupcake Box.


Ingredients

  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking powder.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk, and mix until just combined.
  7. Line a cupcake pan with liners and fill each liner about two-thirds full with batter.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Let the cupcakes cool completely before frosting.

For best results, allow cupcakes to cool completely before applying frosting to avoid melting.
