Description

A delightful blend of moist banana bread and creamy Nutella, perfect for breakfast or a sweet snack.


Ingredients

  • 3 extremely ripe (even brown) bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 eggs, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup non-fat Greek yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup Nutella


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the mashed bananas with the melted butter, stirring to combine.
  3. Mix in the eggs, Greek yogurt, and vanilla. Set aside.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, salt, and sugar.
  5. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Melt Nutella in the microwave for 20 seconds. Drizzle half of the Nutella over the batter, gently swirling with a knife to form ribbons.
  8. Pour the second half of the batter on top and repeat with the remaining Nutella.
  9. Bake for 45 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  10. Allow to cool for 15 minutes before removing from the loaf pan.

Notes

Use a gentle folding motion when mixing. For variations, consider adding chocolate chips or nuts.
