Description

A delightful treat that combines the sweetness of ripe bananas with rich Nutella, creating a moist and indulgent banana bread perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups mashed ripe bananas (about 4-5 medium bananas)
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ cup Nutella


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, stir together the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and melted butter until well combined.
  3. Add in the eggs, vanilla extract, and mashed bananas. Stir thoroughly until the mixture is homogeneous.
  4. Gently fold in the flour, salt, and baking soda until no flour streaks remain, ensuring the batter is thick.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  6. Microwave the Nutella for 20-25 seconds to make it easier to spread, then dollop half of the melted Nutella evenly across the batter. Use a knife to swirl the Nutella into the batter.
  7. Pour the remaining batter into the pan, dollop the remaining Nutella on top, and swirl again.
  8. Bake for 50-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with only moist crumbs.
  9. Let cool in the pan for 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding cinnamon or nutmeg to the batter or incorporating nuts or chocolate chips.
