Ingredients

  • 454g ground beef (1 lb)
  • 80g shredded mozzarella cheese (3 oz)
  • 60g Parmesan romano cheese blend (2 oz)
  • 1 heaping tbsp minced garlic
  • 12 banana peppers, sweet or spicy variety

Instructions

  1. With a sharp paring knife, cut off the tops of the peppers. Remove and discard the seeds. Wash the peppers and dry them with a towel. Set them aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the beef, mozzarella, Parmesan Romano blend, and minced garlic. Mix until everything is well blended.
  3. Fill each cleaned pepper with the meat mixture evenly.
  4. Arrange the stuffed peppers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake in the oven at 350°F for half an hour.
  6. Serve them hot, garnished with some warm marinara sauce.

Notes

  • Consider enhancing the meat mixture with a touch of salt and pepper before stuffing the peppers.
  • Experiment with different cheeses like cheddar or pepper jack for a unique flavor twist.
  • For a spicier dish, try using spicy banana peppers instead of the sweet variety.
