Description

A delightful dish of pillowy gnocchi enveloped in a creamy Parmesan sauce with earthy mushrooms and garlic.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound gnocchi
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Cook the gnocchi according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and garlic, cooking until mushrooms are tender and golden.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Add the cooked gnocchi to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly.
