Ingredients
- 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, and cornstarch to create the marinade. Mix until smooth.
- Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade, ensuring each piece is coated. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Once the oil is hot, add the marinated beef and cook until it is browned.
- Add the minced garlic, ginger, and chopped green onions to the pan.
- Pour any remaining marinade over the beef, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Serve hot over rice, garnished with extra green onions if desired.
