Ingredients
- 1 cup (240 ml) Water, lukewarm
- 2 tbsps (30 ml) Yeast
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) Sugar
- 1 1/2 cups (180 g) All-purpose flour
- 1 pinch Salt
- Yogurt, As required
- 6 tbsps (90 g) Vegetable oil, melted
- 2 tbsps (30 ml) Cinnamon sugar
- Chocolate syrup, For garnish
Instructions
- Pour the warm water into a bowl and stir in the sugar and yeast. Allow it to rest for 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.
- In another bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and salt, stirring well.
- Incorporate the yogurt into the flour mixture and blend thoroughly.
- Pour in the yeast mixture and mix until the dough starts to form.
- Place the dough on a flat surface and knead until smooth, adding extra flour if necessary.
- Return the dough to the bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise for an hour until it doubles in volume.
- Preheat the air fryer to the desired temperature.
- After the dough has expanded, shape it into small balls, creating as many as possible.
- Brush the dough balls with 4 tablespoons of melted vegetable oil.
- Place them in the air fryer and bake at 180℃ for 5-6 minutes until cooked through.
- Transfer the cooked donuts to a bowl, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, and drizzle with 2 tablespoons of melted vegetable oil, mixing well.
- Drizzle with chocolate syrup before serving warm.
