Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (240 ml) Water, lukewarm
  • 2 tbsps (30 ml) Yeast
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) Sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups (180 g) All-purpose flour
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • Yogurt, As required
  • 6 tbsps (90 g) Vegetable oil, melted
  • 2 tbsps (30 ml) Cinnamon sugar
  • Chocolate syrup, For garnish


Instructions

  1. Pour the warm water into a bowl and stir in the sugar and yeast. Allow it to rest for 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.
  2. In another bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and salt, stirring well.
  3. Incorporate the yogurt into the flour mixture and blend thoroughly.
  4. Pour in the yeast mixture and mix until the dough starts to form.
  5. Place the dough on a flat surface and knead until smooth, adding extra flour if necessary.
  6. Return the dough to the bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise for an hour until it doubles in volume.
  7. Preheat the air fryer to the desired temperature.
  8. After the dough has expanded, shape it into small balls, creating as many as possible.
  9. Brush the dough balls with 4 tablespoons of melted vegetable oil.
  10. Place them in the air fryer and bake at 180℃ for 5-6 minutes until cooked through.
  11. Transfer the cooked donuts to a bowl, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, and drizzle with 2 tablespoons of melted vegetable oil, mixing well.
  12. Drizzle with chocolate syrup before serving warm.
