Description

A comforting sandwich filled with seasoned ground beef, melted cheese, and fresh vegetables, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 1 jalapeño, sliced (optional)
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Hot sauce (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the diced onion and bell pepper to the skillet, cooking until softened. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Stir in the shredded cheese and let it melt into the mixture.
  4. Slice the hoagie rolls and fill them with the beef and cheese mixture.
  5. Top with jalapeños, avocado, lettuce, and tomato.
  6. Drizzle with hot sauce if desired and serve warm.

Notes

For a crunchier sandwich, use slightly toasted hoagie rolls.
