A family favorite, these cheesy chicken crescent rolls combine melty cheese, tender chicken, and flaky pastry for a comforting dish that brings smiles.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 can crescent roll dough
- ½ cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, shredded cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Mix well.
- Roll out the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.
- Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll the dough around the filling, starting from the wide end, and tuck the ends to secure.
- Arrange the filled crescent rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.
