Description

Delicious pita pockets filled with flavorful ground beef, fresh vegetables, and creamy tzatziki sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 pita pockets
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1/2 cucumber, diced
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup tzatziki sauce


Instructions

  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
  3. Add ground beef, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper; cook until beef is browned.
  4. Warm pita pockets in the oven or microwave.
  5. Fill each pita pocket with the beef mixture, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and feta cheese.
  6. Drizzle with tzatziki sauce before serving.

Notes
