Description

A delicious garlic Parmesan broccoli recipe that transforms this vegetable into a favorite side dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound broccoli (washed and cut into florets)
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper (to taste)


Instructions

  1. Add 2 cups of water to a large saucepan on the stovetop.
  2. Add salt and bring the water to a boil.
  3. Add in the broccoli and allow it to cook for 2-4 minutes.
  4. Drain the water and set the broccoli aside.
  5. In that same saucepan, melt the butter and sauté the garlic for a minute or two.
  6. Add in the broccoli and toss it well to coat it in the butter and garlic mixture.
  7. Top with Parmesan and toss again.
  8. Taste and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Serve as a side dish with your favorite steak or main course.

Notes

For added flavor, consider using fresh garlic and adjusting cooking time for desired texture.
